Anti-Ghost Postage

In 6 weeks (give or take 5), my office will be closed, and I will be jobless (possibly). The fancy Pitney Bowes postage meter in said office has approximately $436.566 left in it. No refunds, of course.

What should we do w/ the postage? What would YOU do?

Maybe you can donate it to a charity (possibly anti-war?) that could use the postage for their mailers?

No refunds, Jel. It's all postage moolah. And I don't think a bartender would be willing to gimme a couple dozen rounds for an admittedly excellent postage machine.

I wanna mail myself all over the world in a steamer trunk, just so I can collect those country stickers, like in the Tom & Jerry cartoons.

Please note that there are also TWO cases of addressed window envelopes that are yours for the taking, if you so desire.

Mike, bless you for actually taking this thread seriously (especially when it was meant as a total goof), but the actual decision re: the postage is up to my boss, and I'm not sure he's quite that charitable.

Waldo Jeffers had reached his limit. It was now Mid-August which meant that he had been separated from Marsha for more than two months. Two months, and all he had to show was three dog-eared letters and two very expensive long-distance phone calls...

I was waiting for someone to say that. I kept thinking it was 'Walter Jeffers'...
