Uhh, someone just pointed out that she's wearing the same headband as was worn by Christina Ricci in The Addams Family. #Pretendian? pic.twitter.com/Z0vtflqPND

If she's enrolled in a tribe, she's legitimate, even if the headband is pure puffery. Space Force is obviously bogus, but I can see why a young woman in the armed services looking for a career path might see it as a way to climb the command ladder.

Anytime I see a news story about Space Force, I think: wait, is this thing not still completely fake and laughable bullshit? And if it isn't completely fake and laughable bullshit then...wtf is it? Seriously. Is it just gonna be like people hanging out in a low-orbiting craft playing Laser Tag? How and against whom are they imposing their Force?

And again: where is our Undersea Force? Those fuckin' Atlanteans are coming for us sooner or later.

is "enrolled" the correct word to use there

After one enrolls in Space Force, what is the process of rolling for stats

You Can't Have the Woogie Without a Little Boogie (Old Lunch), Friday, 9 April 2021 18:25 (four years ago)

what does a Space Force Intelligence officer do?

is "enrolled" the correct word to use there

yes it is

but it's a pretty dubious distinction. My family being an example to this, My mother and two older brothers are "enrolled" in the tribe but shortly before I was born they closed the books, so I'm not.

Biden should seize the opportunity to create an Innerspace Force.

In all the making fun of dumb-dumb Trump it was kind of ignored that this nonsense was bipartisan.

We should turn Space Force into Spays Force, send them around fixing dogs & cats. Much more useful purpose imo.

Space Force gets their Space Cold War...

US says Russia likely launched anti-satellite weapon

The US says Russia launched a satellite last week which it believes may be capable of attacking other such probes. "Russia launched a satellite into low Earth orbit that we assess is likely a counter space weapon," said Pentagon spokesman Brig Gen Pat Ryder on Tuesday evening. It was on the "same orbit" as a US government satellite, he said, adding that Washington would continue to monitor the situation and had to be ready to protect its interests.
Russia has not publicly commented on the issue.

That dude came to speak at my school (when I was going for my second master’s)

trm (tombotomod), Tuesday, 6 August 2024 19:52 (one year ago)

he was late for his speech because of traffic and he apologized profusely which I thought was super considerate and unexpected considering he outranked 100% of the auditorium including the university president

He also serves as a senior managing director Cerberus Capital Management and a visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution.
