"Too many pedophiles, Mozart."

If this is true, it's a real damn shame, because he's starred in a number of films I love (him as Criswell in Ed Wood was brilliant casting).

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 15 November 2002 15:52 (twenty-three years ago)

"look what Uncle Ed's got for ya, little fucker."

Chris V. (Chris V), Friday, 15 November 2002 15:54 (twenty-three years ago)

Officer Jason Lee said a search warrant was served at Jones' home...

*sigh*
the experience of growing into adulthood for all of us, is the
realisation, year by year that about 1 in every 3 or 4 of our
childhood heroes, will not only let us down, by being crap
in a crap film, or dying on us, or making bad records,
but they'll turn out to be sheepfiddlers, kidburglars, and
general face-falling-off freakazoids. *what* are we to do ?

we should do a thread about people who have never let us down and never will ever. can't think of anyone at the minute though.

"i didn't get where i am by letting someone like
ferris bueller leave my cheese out in the wind"

well !

ep, Friday, 15 November 2002 19:08 (twenty-three years ago)

I also like him as the evil alien guy in "Howard the Duck."

mandee, Friday, 15 November 2002 19:22 (twenty-three years ago)

It was a seventeen year old, so that part's a bit sketchy. The kiddie porn on the other hand I don't know.

minna (minna), Saturday, 16 November 2002 01:07 (twenty-three years ago)

(oops sorry, i am james' echo)

minna (minna), Saturday, 16 November 2002 01:08 (twenty-three years ago)

Depends what counts as 'kiddie porn', really. Technically it could be anyone under the age of 18 (or 21?). It might not be quite as nasty as it sounds.

Andrew (enneff), Saturday, 16 November 2002 09:42 (twenty-three years ago)

I hope not, as I really like Jeffrey Jones.

James Blount (James Blount), Saturday, 16 November 2002 09:45 (twenty-three years ago)

He's been hanging out with Pee Wee Herman at his Playhouse

brg30 (brg30), Saturday, 16 November 2002 17:36 (twenty-three years ago)

I've had sex with a 17 year old myself. It doesn't strike me as something we should deprecate morally. The allegations of child porn is another matter, but a) it's an allegation, and b) they might mean 17 year olds again. It'd be an odd trial, because he is a celebrity but he always played rather creepy characters, so the image thing is complicated.
