the experience of growing into adulthood for all of us, is the
realisation, year by year that about 1 in every 3 or 4 of our
childhood heroes, will not only let us down, by being crap
in a crap film, or dying on us, or making bad records,
but they'll turn out to be sheepfiddlers, kidburglars, and
general face-falling-off freakazoids. *what* are we to do ?
we should do a thread about people who have never let us down and never will ever. can't think of anyone at the minute though.

I've had sex with a 17 year old myself. It doesn't strike me as something we should deprecate morally. The allegations of child porn is another matter, but a) it's an allegation, and b) they might mean 17 year olds again. It'd be an odd trial, because he is a celebrity but he always played rather creepy characters, so the image thing is complicated.
