which, as dan m is right to point out, is potentially a bad idea for a number of reasons. first and foremost - you can never count on anyone, ANYONE - even in the highest levels of any profession, to have any ability to tell what's real and what is not. it confuses people, even when it really should not.

okay, hold up. seriously comrades. I think we need to establish procedures for consensus, as well as establishing working groups. I was not at the meeting where the leader was chosen, and therefore we have a serious problem with regards to inclusivity. Also, it appears that everyone in this thread is cis and white, and except for me, male-identified. I don't think we can successfully overthrow white supremacy and establish a collective anti-fascist state founded on the principles of critical race theory with our current active membership.

actually, i lied/suppressed: on my honeymoon in seattle (for a morning en route to other places), i did absolutely clog the only toilet at a very crowded restaurant at brunch -- bloody marys + tons of coffee -- and I did flee the scene. it was humiliating because even when i went in there was already a line of 4 people. people were knocking on the door and i was saying "just a minute!" while desperately trying to fix the toilet. i texted my partner and asked to pay the bill as quickly as possible, and then i put some toilet paper on top of the problem and said "sorry about that" as i walked directly out past the line of people, past the register, out the door and around the corner
