which, as dan m is right to point out, is potentially a bad idea for a number of reasons. first and foremost - you can never count on anyone, ANYONE - even in the highest levels of any profession, to have any ability to tell what's real and what is not. it confuses people, even when it really should not.

I was not at the meeting where the leader was chosen, and therefore we have a serious problem with regards to inclusivity. Also, it appears that everyone in this thread is cis and white, and except for me, male-identified. writing in from one of the antifa PNW hubs - there's a lovely TJ's right near my house, i go there often. they seem to have a decent selection of both beer and wine, though i don't really drink. frankly, i think this is one of the rare times the usually-trustworthy fox news has missed the mark. my observation is that it's far more common for antifa supersoldiers to be hopped up on reefer than it is for them to be wine moms.

as for my own mom, she did have a great fondness for what she referred to as "two-buck chuck" in my younger years, and it's probably true that the assisted living facility she's in is kind of a hotbed for antifa training. she and her younger sister have started going out more often to an elite training facility to do water aerobics. i've heard from other senior resistance operatives that enrollment in these antifa supersoldier training facilities has skyrocketed in the past few days. of course the liberal media will just say "kate, that's just people joining gyms for their new years' resolution, that happens every year". i don't believe it for a second. my mom, for instance, has had advanced synthetic implants installed just within the past year - she openly talks about having a "bilateral hip replacement". she can't walk right now, but that's presumably because her body has to adjust to her new antifa superpowers.
