So I log in to ILx for the first time in months and the top thread is about ILE crushs. Good to know some things never change.

Just wanted to say "Hi, I'm not dead." Have not had net access in months so that's why I've been absent for so long. Hopefully that will change in the next couple of weeks and I'll be back.

I hate 7th graders. Anyone want to offer me a job?

I *still* am not online. Am at my friends now mostly to job search. I'm such a dumb job slut. Am approaching more of them than lovers. Not just jobs, actual careers.

Minna, 6th isn't too far from 7th. My kids are just devil spawn.

No, really I teach in a really rough area. Kids are regularly arrested at school, shootings etc. Hardly any of them live with *a* parent. forget both of them. Our school is 100% free lunch. Desperate poverty. Intellectually I understand how their shitty home lives make them hard to deal with but still. . . .I hate them. They are little fucking bastards. They hate me too.

Things they have called me/said to me:

-A witch who worships the devil
-"Do you have a deep black pit of hate in your heart?" (why thanks to you, yes I do.)
-"Do you have kids? If so they must have run away 20 times by now."

Of course there is also the standard cussing out, "bitch" etc. They mostly hate me because I make them talk and behave and I don't let them run over me. But it's okay because I hate them too.

I wanted to teach since I was in first grade. In one semester this school has pulverized that desire. I think I'd rather work at Target.
