(Not that you should feel guilty anyway.)

Anna (Anna), Monday, 18 November 2002 13:33 (twenty-three years ago)

Um, I believe he is refering to Dave Clark's Five Grilles, part of Deptford Sewage Treatment Plat which had a number of various sized grills to sift between the solid impassible objects from the (surprisingly high blood content) Deptford Sewage. Dave Clark, another Dave Clark, was in charge of these grills and would often supplement his income by pawning the surprising number of engagement rings which would get caught on grill four.

Happy Birthday nevertheless.

Pete (Pete), Monday, 18 November 2002 13:42 (twenty-three years ago)

Ha Pete - just googled this. You're a recreational liar!! Except it was grill 2 last time. Although obv it depends on whether you start counting from the New Cross end or the Greenwich end.

Happy birthday Dr. C! It's good to be seeing you around these parts a bit more these days. Will we see you in a pub again soon?

Matt DC (Matt DC), Thursday, 16 November 2006 13:47 (nineteen years ago)

teh-kit : not medical

Matt - thanks. I am rarely out of pubs as you can prob imagine, but haven't been to a FAP for ages because of a variety of stuff that's been taking my time. But I do expect to be around more in person too. I was thinking of seeing if anyone was up for a FAP next Friday when we play the Bull and Gate. Not really to try and people to come to the gig, but just to see a few people and maybe shoot some pool etc etc. Maybe I should start a thread - I just assume that everyone has better stuff to do on a Friday.

Dr. C (Dr. C), Thursday, 16 November 2006 13:53 (nineteen years ago)

Happy birthday youse.

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Thursday, 16 November 2006 14:06 (nineteen years ago)

Happy birthday indeed, good sir. May we one of these days properly meet up when I'm there! (Which might well be as soon as next summer...)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 16 November 2006 14:08 (nineteen years ago)

I hope so Ned. I can't remember exactly what happened last time. I know you were staying quite close to where I live. Was it around 7/7?

Dr. C (Dr. C), Thursday, 16 November 2006 14:12 (nineteen years ago)

Doc, I will come along, as long as you promise not to ... 'shoot some pool'.

the pinefox (the pinefox), Thursday, 16 November 2006 15:23 (nineteen years ago)
