My money is on Laraine. She's in much better shape than Dan, who is the only one younger. Plus, she seems to be pretty content and well-adjusted.

If there is a God, Chevy will be the next to go.

This poll reminds me just how old I am. I first encountered this show when its first season aired. The earliest one I remember watching is S1E4 (Candice Bergen hosting, Esther Phillips performing), although I may have caught E2 (Paul Simon).

Does anyone else remember when Bill Murray replaced Chevy in S2? I hated him at first, really didn't get his whole approach. Of course, he kind of grew into the gig, also.

I watched from S1E1. We had just moved from CA to MS, I hated the country, hated hunting and fishing, and our tv only got 3 channels -- NBC, CBS and PBS. I grabbed hold of SNL (and Weekend, the Lloyd Dobbins and later Linda Ellerbee news magazine that was on in place of SNL once a month) like life preservers. I even liked the Muppets, and "Mr Hipp Goes to Town" on Weekend.
