Movie is only just fine, but Affleck is actually fantastic. He gets Highsmith's icy charmer in a way I wasn't expecting.

That Chaw review makes me want to watch it again. I liked it on a plot level but was mostly impressed with how beautiful it looks — it's like a two-hour perfume commercial, with murders.
