So, what do you think ? Major Lance Gerrard-Wright and the crew of gorgeous ladeeeez after him - is it a case of one step too far for the reality TV makers or is it an unfairly maligned klassik piece of insight into what drives Brits to lust ?

No. It's ITV's latest attempt at "reality TV". He's a Bond-like gentleman ex-soldier who's been around the world and done loads of manly things but ay-ay-ay-ay he can't find his baybee, and there are ten girls who he has to reject one by one until one is left.

It's utterly hopeless even by ITV's standards, and I stopped watching it the last time he said "I've had a really really fabulous evening" before my foot went in the telly.
