Anyone have Rich Strike in the Kentucky Derby today?
An 80-1 long shot is the winner. Wasn't even expected to race this very morning.

What a boring horse name. Sounds like a “Decker” style self-insertion hero in an Amazon print on demand book.

for what it's worth I was just checking results on my phone and noticed I've got a 66/1 winner at Leopardstown called Female Soldier. unfortunately it's on a 10p each way L15 and there will need to be few more big priced winners for it to really hurt the bookies

lol just got one other horse placed with the 66/1 netting me a modest £22.

Not bad. Have never played the Lucky 15, I should try that

lots of people say the singles on the L-15 are a waste of time and the old classic Yankee (the mother of all four selection multibets) is the way to do it. But I like to get something back from one winner. one day I'm going to get 4 big priced winners together, and then probably keel over from the shock of it!

I got £630 back on a £10 greyhound bet last week. But it wasn't a single big price winner, it was 3 f/c winning f/c doubles which included one with big price outsiders winning the race. Greyhound racing is probably even more ruthless and cruel than horseracing - but it's a lifelong habit/addiction I picked up when I used to be a betting shop manager. Putting on low-staked bets to relieve the boredom during night-racing.
