GTA4 ice cream sales glitch madness

Anybody else having trouble making the ice cream truck jingle? You have to to sell your crack, but it just stays silent and creepy while the customers ignore it...

turn your radio off, sometimes the jingle comes on right away, sometimes it takes a few. That mission sucks, you have to sell 100 cracks.

Doesn't work. I can't raise the jingle at all - just dead silence and no custom. Do you have to do it in specific places?

You're pressing the Submit button correct?

I think it helps to move the L3 button around while you're pressing it.

(Oh, and you only have to sell 50. It's hella easy 'cos you can just drive to the docks and park next to a Pay 'n' Spray and duck in every time the fuzz shows up)
