I only joined this place in 2012 (I think) and didn't start regularly posting until a couple of years later, the early 2010s everyone seemed to be constantly engaged in various forms of conflict and trolling and it wasn't a very nice place to be, (well maybe it was for some people.) It has calmed down a lot now, people can talk about their favourite music without being told that it's shit and they're an idiot, there's only one clusterfuck every other month, maybe just one per year if you stick to ILM.
OTOH maybe this is because the people with strong opinions have left, and it would go back to how it was before if they came back.
In conclusion ILX is a land of contrasts.

Quite a few ppl on twitter who I thought would've been here if it wasn't for twitter.

I say: it's time to bring them home!

I like Lex and treasure his posts on the Rebecca Black thread, but he was one of the primary "I hate most music and will tell you so" people, which imo was not good for ILM and afaict not doing him any good either.
