Should be in December. Probably can't be on a Saturday cos those days are getting filled up fast for most people I'd guess. So how about a Friday evening? Or even a weekday? What's anyone think?

Tom (Groke), Tuesday, 19 November 2002 23:22 (twenty-three years ago)

not the 14th, that's a saturday, but I thought I'd mention seeing as I'm already double booked.

Ed (dali), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 08:07 (twenty-three years ago)

Marcello Carlin, Wednesday, 20 November 2002 08:32 (twenty-three years ago)

20th is the warp christmas do, if anyone is going to that?

gareth (gareth), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 08:44 (twenty-three years ago)

from a personal point of view, i reckon friday the 13th (bambambam baaaaammmm)is close enough to xmas yet not clashing with anything else yet ;)

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 08:54 (twenty-three years ago)

Friday 13th you should be coming to visit me and come to the Winchester Club like Mooro and daughter.

Madchen (Madchen), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 09:08 (twenty-three years ago)

friday 13th you should be coming to witness my wizard dj skills at griffin sports club, dulwich village. my showstopping bootleg mix of "work it" and "helen forsdale" is currently under construction.

Marcello Carlin, Wednesday, 20 November 2002 09:10 (twenty-three years ago)

dulwich it is then ;)

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 09:27 (twenty-three years ago)

I vote for a weekday/Friday. All weekends out for me.

Dr. C (Dr. C), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 09:28 (twenty-three years ago)

Gareth, are you coming to Auto?

PS: Non/sense tomorrow at Public Life 8 till late.

Ed (dali), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 09:52 (twenty-three years ago)

I'm in Manchester on the 13th and 14th.

Anna (Anna), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 09:57 (twenty-three years ago)

what is auto?

think i am going to non/sense (although my mooted oldskoolhardcore set is not going to happen now, because i have no records with me)

gareth (gareth), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 10:06 (twenty-three years ago)

oh and I can't make the 3rd or the 6th either. Oh just ignore me and plan it.

Anna (Anna), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 10:10 (twenty-three years ago)

another reason to have bought a laptop.

auto is big Warp/Pulp/Others Night in Sheffield 14/12/02

Ed (dali), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 10:10 (twenty-three years ago)

Ooh is that the one at Aldwych tube station because I SO NEED TO GO TO THAT!

Sarah (starry), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 10:27 (twenty-three years ago)

Er actually I don't even know what I'm on about. But someone said something about a thing in a disused tube station. Perhaps they meant a rat or two. hein?

Sarah (starry), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 10:30 (twenty-three years ago)

its not at aldwych tube station, its in spitalfields.

i did go to a thing at aldwych tube station last year with gescom and alder&elius, but it wasnt' that good. you'd think a disused tube station would be a great venue, but it didnt really work (incidentally, the aldwych signs have come off and its reverted to its original name of 'strand' - which it was called before the northern line got their own 'strand' station < /robin >

gareth (gareth), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 10:46 (twenty-three years ago)

Whenever, but advance notice U+K.

Graham (graham), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 11:31 (twenty-three years ago)

Oh what was wrong with it? That's really disappointing.

Sarah (starry), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 11:32 (twenty-three years ago)

I used to use the Aldwych branch when I went to King's College. The lifts were extremely rickety and old, and used to have a lift attendant in each one. They used to regularly get stuck when the up and down lift were opposite each other, and the attendants would open a special door in the side of each lift to allow you to step across into the other one over a dark and dangerous gap. Strangely, when everyone was all in one lift they used to start working again.

Dr. C (Dr. C), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 11:57 (twenty-three years ago)

too small and cold for a club. it was like being in a bus shelter

gareth (gareth), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 11:58 (twenty-three years ago)

I cannae do the 7th (I'm going to something top secret, hehe!), and the 20th I am going bowling.

Central is best for me.

jel -- (jel), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 17:59 (twenty-three years ago)

he means acton central you know!

gareth (gareth), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 18:06 (twenty-three years ago)

yeah, why don't we all go to the redback!!! I could get the bus home!

jel -- (jel), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 18:10 (twenty-three years ago)

haha Acton would do for me too (in that I can probably get put up by Andrew). As Graham says, decent advance notice => very good odds of me showing up.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 20:22 (twenty-three years ago)

Fuck yes, here's another vote for Acton!

Andrew L (Andrew L), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 20:55 (twenty-three years ago)

make it a thursday, and I suggest EC1/WC1. What do people want, a pub or more?

Ed (dali), Wednesday, 20 November 2002 21:03 (twenty-three years ago)

it should not be in acton

it should go on until 6am

gareth (gareth), Thursday, 21 November 2002 09:59 (twenty-three years ago)

it should be in isleworth.

it should go on until 6 pm.

Marcello Carlin, Thursday, 21 November 2002 10:03 (twenty-three years ago)

i believe the recent "thing" in aldwych/strand was a showing of american werewolf in london, which we tried, but failed, to get tickets for.

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Thursday, 21 November 2002 10:15 (twenty-three years ago)

Pasha it is then. Coalville here we come.

Ed (dali), Thursday, 21 November 2002 10:18 (twenty-three years ago)

if we went to pacha it would be, like, the greatest thing ever

or, perhaps more realistically, the end

gareth (gareth), Thursday, 21 November 2002 10:53 (twenty-three years ago)

it goes on until 6am = I do not have to spend 40 quid on taxis or hotels (but I might fall asleep)
it has a no trainers or jeans dress code = I do not turn up (but then this is usually true anyway)

Rebecca (reb), Thursday, 21 November 2002 14:43 (twenty-three years ago)

Yay Rebecca.

(Atttendance U+K: Archel, Faymeister, KTEE!, Anna's Hat)

Graham (graham), Thursday, 21 November 2002 14:59 (twenty-three years ago)

Let's do a northern soul allnighter!

Sarah (starry), Thursday, 21 November 2002 15:02 (twenty-three years ago)

6 am? Too late for me, 11pm is as late as I'll stay, some of us have to get home and listen to Skid Row on their walkmans til they fall asleep.

I kinda like Isleworth, it has an odd charm. Osterley is a very nice station, very curvy.

jel -- (jel), Thursday, 21 November 2002 18:14 (twenty-three years ago)

The thread that finally proves that the democracy don't work.

Pete (Pete), Thursday, 21 November 2002 18:20 (twenty-three years ago)

That doesn't matter if it's a Friday night though.

Graham, Thursday, 21 November 2002 18:23 (twenty-three years ago)

(obviously Anna's attendance is optional, as long as the Hat comes)

Graham (graham), Friday, 22 November 2002 13:03 (twenty-three years ago)

Good point Pete. You sort something out and that's when it'll be.
