Rolling awful NYTimes takes thread
Alexandre de Moraes, a Brazilian Supreme Court justice, has taken up the mantle of the country's lead defender of democracy. But his aggressive approach and expanding authority have prompted debate over whether one can go too far to fight the far right. https://t.co/oQvPeWrbtH— The New York Times (@nytimes) January 22, 2023

though I guess I was more wanting to catalogue repellent, stupid headlines
glad the Times got Elon Musk's take on Brazilian democracy in there though, was worried we wouldn't get that insight

The New Yorker profile of Pamela Paul fits here. She turns out to be even lamer than you think.

The last three days have been hell on me, thanks to the NYT. First, that excrescence of a Sunday story on trans parents ("If these teachers don't stop letting my kids confide in them, I'm gonna vote for Trump, just watch!"); secondly, yesterday's story in which, despite the revelations about Pence keeping classified documents in his broom closet or whatever, we learn that Biden's own stash "complicates" the prosecution of Trump.
Fuck this rag.
