I only have one sec worker friend who I met doing theatre years ago. Her perspective on things has been very enlightening because there's been so much anti-SW rhetoric among the left for a long time, whereas we can call out harmful elements within the sex industry without outright dismissing the entire profession or trying to shut it down.

I think where I live there is a lot less anti-SW rhetoric among the left ... but that could be a unique bubble
