'Nothing Forever' the Seinfeld inspired AI sitcom

It's back, although it's now less Seinfeld inspired than it was before. I was really feeling this new version at first, but I'm starting to get into it. Kelly just suggested they form a band called 'the Middle Aged Misfits'. Leo had a really depressing blog post earlier about how he went to feed his goldfish, but the fish had fallen out of the fishbowl and was lying on the floor flapping around, and when he went over to help it he tripped and his head hit the fishbowl which shattered into a million pieces, and he was lying there on the ground covered in broken glass and fish food flakes with a dead fish, but at least he now had a 'funny story' to tell people.

As soon as I tuned in, one of the characters got a huge laugh from the audience when he announced he had stage four cancer, and another when he said he wouldn't be able to afford treatment.

In the last few minutes Leo has been talking about his fear of balloons

They ask each other if they've ever been skydiving or bungee jumping a lot, like at least a couple of times an hour.

From casually watching 5min of each just now I have to agree.

I don't know if Nothing Forever is aspiring to be 'funny' exactly

It's repeating a heck of a lot, tuned in this morning and there was a lot of the 'my Landlord has sent me a strange letter with weird symbols on it'

The bit I saw was just them having mundane conversations that came pretty close to making sense; like from the premise that these are AI generated it seemed very straightforward, "ah ok this AI has picked up some basic conversations about pizza", not much weirdness there. The randomized laugh track came closest but also quickly became predictable.

I'm sure if I stuck around unlimitedsteam for a bit longer I'd get tired of its shtick as well but for the time being it gave me more of a sense of endless possibilties (within the strict rules of the Steamed Hams structure ofc).

Maybe these are the shows for ppl who can't watch shows anymore..

One thing, Chalmers - never admit to the existence of a fire. It was just a mere wraith.

Unlimited Steam is amazing

Allegedly the people who make “Nothing Forever” are sincerely trying to prove that AI sitcoms are the future. Unlimited Steam just goes for dads laughs. It proves its superiority when Skinner starts speaking Polish after burning the “Polish Language” in one episode.

Surprising no one, 420 and unlimited steam work well together.

Love the one where Skinner makes steamed water.

And the one where he accidentally burns the Hapsburg Empire.

I like how there is no way to share your particular experience unless someone else was watching at the same time. Like yesterday I saw skinner offer a prayer to the devil to get some crabs and then tell the superintendent the fire was "just the glory" but I could have just made that up.

He prays to the devil kind of a lot. And at one point yesterday he dropped a few f-bombs while castigating his poor cooking skills.

there is an AI Frasier (FrAIsier), but it doesn't stream 24 hours a day, new episodes premier on twitch then get added to youtube. This one is more melancholy than funny. In episode three he receives a phone call from his dead mother.

I saw the cheese smells like feet episode. They do eventually all repeat, while adding new ones at a variable rate.
