ilx email address no longer accessible… what to do?

My old yahoo address is dead. I forgot the password, they won't let me in, if I send it a message it bounces. What's the best course of action?

One vote for who cares.

The email address I used to sign up (back when ilx first began to require registration in order to post here -- circa 2004?) disappeared as a working address before 2010. As I recall it, at the time it went kaput I had never received an email via ilx. Since then I have of course not received any bcz the address doesn't work. It has never seemed worth breaking a sweat over. I just keep posting.

Been here a long time. My 'via ilx' received emails don't break double digits.

So, make new a/c but be yourself.

Where can you set/change your ilx mail address?

Whatever email you used to register is permanently attached to your login name and can't be changed.

In my case I've done nothing to remedy having registered under a now-dead email address because the only real remedy would be to abandon my login 'Aimless' and I'm fond to it. Chances are very high nobody is trying to reach me via ilx email anyway.

But if you have no great affection for your current login name, it's easy to just go ahead and re-register with a new email address and login name.
