Brak = Space Ghost side-kick, right? The organ playa?

David Raposa, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Yup. Hilarious on "Space Ghost", but I can't imagine him sustaining an entire show.

Sorry, I just realized which character you were talking about. Brak wasn't the main sidekick; he was another secondary character who got a humongous cult following for being fucking dense and hilarious.

brak = minor character elevated to god like status for being dense as fook (as someone mentioned) and for having a voice which sounds like your weird uncle lenny. not entirely convinced he can hold an entire show on his own either, but he's certainly good fun for breaking up a mix tape.

I've seen two episodes, and I have to say they were without doubt the best thing I've seen on TV all year. Better than that Brass Eye Special shit. The character, against what you'd think, manages to keep your interest up through a whole programme. A future classic, IMHO.

seven years pass...

I wonder if Brak's trademark "mouth agape" expression (Fig. 1) is supposed to be representative of the Flehmen response (Fig. 2) common among many feline species. I wonder.
