I was a massive Frankie Goes To Hollywood fan in 1984. Went to see them in Chicago, and for some reason, a local news channel was interviewing concertgoers in the lobby. I didn't notice the news crew at all, but during the concert there was a minor incident (false floor slowly collapsed in front of the stage, maybe a 2-foot drop, no injuries) that somehow warranted national coverage. The next morning, someone at my middle school said, "Hey, I saw you on the CBS Morning News this morning!" Huh? Then two or three other kids said the same thing. When I got home from school, my mom said a friend of hers called to say she saw me on TV.

I didn't see the actual footage until nearly 20 years later when VH1 used it for the Frankie entry on their One Hit Wonders of the '80s countdown (at 3:09:17 -- I'm the dorky kid with glasses on the left):
