My friend Katharine and I are going to be tour guides for Our Turning World, magnum photography exihibit. We are pretty excited about doing this and if the truth be known, just a teeny bit nervous. Yesterday I had to call the exhibition's organiser and give/get some misc details. You know how sometimes if you have to make a phone call and you are nervous or feeling shy or something, it can be helpful to write down what you are going to say? Well Kat wrote me this whole script including lines for the telephone to say (brrring-brrring) and what I should say and what the womans possible responses might be etc and it was all beautifully written, just like a play.

BUT LATER ON THAT DAY: she must have recieved my message and had come to my studio and left a pile of nice infomation and a friendly note RIGHT NEXT TO THE SCRIPT THAT I HAD CARELESSLY LEFT ON MY DESK! Oh No!

Will the nice exhibition organiser think that we are total morons incabable of making phone calls let alone guiding the public around one of the most important photography exhibits to come to this gallery...I am guessing yes, but please, soothe me!

ten years pass...

Wow, this thread is way too short. Surely 10 years down the road ILX has some additional young and foolish confessions to unleash upon the world.
