I haven't watched SYTYCD for years, but I have the theme song seared into my head. today, I learned that there are a non-zero number of people who think the voice at the end of the theme is "shooby dooby doo dance". there were people who were genuinely shocked after years of watching that it is just "so you think you can dance". so which do you hear? let's find out!

I had never heard this before, and all I can really hear is a SHHHH that I guess sounds closer to shooby dooby than to anything else.

Lily, the SHHH comes before the shooby dooby.

I hear "Shooby think you can dance." The vocalist is named Shooby and that's what he thinks.

it's "so you think you can dance" but the voice is pitched down so the "s" sounds more like "sh"

Hearing it only after being presented with the choices, it's obviously "So you think you can dance." But had I encountered it in the wild, I could easily imagine hearing Shooby dooby dan dance or something.
