These are the dozen ten movies that ILX has chosen

Three of my all-timers in that line-up, and only one that I can't say I have much fondness for. Not too bad.

Let me cast the one and only vote for the one my super-sensitive intuition tells me you have no fondness for: Dazed and Confused.

(Though I will be adequately villainously annoyed when it inevitably wins this round over the Marker, the Tsai, and the Jones.)

Duck Amuck probably informed the comic sensibility of every Gen X-er on the planet so that one.

Tokyo Story or Madame De... should have won the 1953 poll over Duck Amuck in my opinion

I'm going to go with one of: 8 1/2 (which I'm pretty sure is the one Eric doesn't have fondness for), Goodbye, Dragon Inn, or Sans Soleil

Continuing my streak of voting for Goodbye, Dragon Inn at every opportunity — but this was the hardest call, over Sans Soleil and Meshes. (I also love Dazed and Confused to pieces, but yeah it's not quite at this level imo.)

At the risk of activating the silent majority, yes, I hold Dazed in pretty high regard, but it's not the deathless masterpiece a number of others here are.
