this is old but I only just found it and it's classic. anyway so for those of you who aren't American and/or don't follow Major League Soccer (understandably), we don't have promotion or relegation here, and teams routinely make it into the top flight (MLS) by being an established lower division team and paying the expansion fee. NYCFC, otoh, skipped that part and just entered the league in 2015 without previously existing.
so back in 2015, they made the news viral for the song sheets they handed out at games, because with no history, they had to come up with chants real fast. today, I found a surprisingly not dead link to their COMPLETE 'song book' from 2015, and shit is gold.
