English Lowlands beech forests

have also lived in:
Celtic broadleaf forests
Western European broadleaf forests

ooh kauri are awesome trees I'd love to see one in person

Temperate grasslands, savannas, and shrublands

actual kauri forest is incredible yeah, did visit some, even if auckland (where i was staying) was the main reason for said ecoregion

I'll claim Alps conifer and mixed forests because the area where I grew up is called the pre-Alps.
Other places where I have spent some time would include California coastal sage and chaparral (San Diego) and the Highveld grasslands (Johannesburg).

that's a beautiful range- I'm in the process of looking all of them up to see what they're like and what kinds of plants and animals live there
