Surprised no thread on this.
As satisfying, stylish and self-contained as any cop/mystery series I can think of this decade, cast are great (leads are cool as fuck) and the vibe is a great pitch between wry humour and spooky.
Didn't raise a thread for the first series but finished season 2 last night and if anything it improves.
Soundtrack and visuals also worth noting.

I did season 1 and can barely remember much about the plot, but I like Zahn McClarnon a lot and dug the drama and mood more than whatever the plot was because I've completely forgotten it! Will be definitely digging into s2.

plot for season 2 settles down into something a bit more real world but i think that suits the vibe better, lets the rest of the elements get into a groove

I'm watching S2 of this. I love the characters, the landscape, the ace First Nations language and cultural elements but the plots are so dorky! The baddie in this one is so overcoded I'm finding myself making 'dun dun dun dun' noises whenever he's on screen.
