Guac because it is essentially a salsa (pico de gallo) with the addition of avocado, a fruit whose indigenous name (ahuacate) means "testicle".

Guac has higher highs but lower and browner lows.

Salsa is an every-Mexican-meal thing, queso and guac are much more occasional for me. So, hard to compare.

good guac = good salsa. queso is trash.

Salsa for me. Guacamole and queso are great, but salsa includes much more excellent variety, even if you restrict it to dips (since salsa could also include every sauce). There are salsas with avocado that encroach on guacamole's territory. There are salsas emulsified with oil or dairy that approach queso's finer points.

Good guac definitely beats salsa or queso.

salsa is a pretty generic term, there are tons of different styles and varieties compared to the other two

for all-around utility my vote goes to guac, which in addition to playing the role of the son in chip dips' holy trinity (salsa is the father and queso is the holy ghost fyi) also serves to elevate sandwiches/wraps/toast and can be used to deep condition one's hair

guacamole has no shelf stable version, and even refrigerator versions are bad. The avos themselves can't come cannned or dried. When you eat guacamole, you are eating that moment. Makes one feel alive.

i know we were promised jetpacks etc etc but i have to say that scoop tortilla chips have been a giant step for humankind

I love the chile relleno super burritos from El Farolito. They include queso and guacamole, but they aren't complete without tomatillo salsa.

Whenever I order burritos or tacos anywhere I always ask them to hold the pico de gallo. It is fine and I like it with chips, but it always seems to work against the other flavors. It's the fresh tomatoes I think. My favorite tacos are just meat, cilantro, onions and a green or red salsa

To fine tune this... the salsa verde that you get in New Mexico and the west Texas panhandle is clearly proved by science to be the superior of all of these choices.
