He will continue to drop out frequently like a rural wifi signal, I’m told this is fine and normal tho

ciderpress, Thursday, 18 July 2024 18:41 (ten months ago)

Like, it probably needs to happen if there's any chance of forestalling Trump's coronation but also it's the kind of thing that needed to happen in a very intentional way a long while ago because now it just feels like kind of a desperate, panicky move and I don't know how much it's gonna help.

Anyway, write-in for President Davidson (w/Decker as veep obvs).

Yesterday I would have voted no but today it really seems like the money scum and the fucking journalists are going to have their way, so I'm voting Harris (as I will in November, if it comes to that).

Instead of create and send out, it pull back and consume (unperson), Friday, 19 July 2024 00:05 (ten months ago)

I voted Biden out, Kamala in but I don’t think the odds are much better than 50/50 vs. him just staying in. Tbh don’t think it will matter much in November.

o. nate, Saturday, 20 July 2024 01:18 (ten months ago)

He’s Wolf of Wall Streeting it, being pushed out is every bit as embarrassing as losing.

"Yesterday I would have voted no but today it really seems like the money scum and the fucking journalists are going to have their way, so I'm voting Harris"

i believe your exact words were: "this will never happen and biden will never leave and all you people are fucking crazy you should all go in the woods for a week and cry!"

NOW who's the crazy one!? oh what a difference a day makes...

scott seward, Saturday, 20 July 2024 01:34 (ten months ago)

Sorry to nitpick, but it was anyone who watched last night's acceptance speech (and evidently there were a few of us) who were banished to the woods to reflect on how we're spending our lives; I think supporting Harris got you banished somewhere else.

clemenza, Saturday, 20 July 2024 01:40 (ten months ago)

Jersey Devil Vance (President Keyes), Saturday, 20 July 2024 03:46 (ten months ago)

Score 1 for the collective wisdom of ILX. I guess we need another poll for who she'll pick for VP.

o. nate, Wednesday, 24 July 2024 21:11 (ten months ago)

I know he won't, but I'm secretly hoping he builds to "Accordingly, I shall not seek, and I will not accept, the nomination of my party for another term as your President."
