ILX bug and feature request thread

Apologies if one of these exists already, I can't find one.

I have two specific annoyances on ILX and they happen to me every day, and I can't be the only one.

1) appearing logged in when you're logged out. This isn't that bad but it results in an issue where you try to post a reply, and it kicks you to the login screen. Ok, fine, log in. Then, you wind up back on the page you were on before, but your reply is missing. Fine, ok, try to post it again. It will fail. You'll wind up on a servlet URL with a blank screen. The only way to recover is to go back in your browser, refresh a bunch of times, then go back to the thread and try to post again. I'm not sure why I get logged out in the first place but it happens in chrome a few times a day, even if I've selected 'remember me' when logging in (I think).

2) "convert simple HTML to BBcode": this works great but it doesn't correctly parse http://. It leaves 'http://' in there, but also adds 'https%3A//' right after it, resulting in a url that looks like this:

http://https%3A//media.cnn.com/api/v1/images/stellar/prod/c-web-kamala-harris-forward-18x24.jpg

which of course is nonsense.

Whoever fixes these annoyances will be my hero for at least one hour!
