If the actor considered it an easy money-spinner at the end if their career with little in the way of artistic value and in no way their best work, then there should be some respect for that.

When I first watched the news in the 80s they seemed to consider all popular culture beneath them and not worth mentioning, now they seem to have swung in completely the opposite direction and it doesn't feel like a democratisation, just like indiscriminate eyeball-chasing.
