Interesting examples of reverse interrogations or "flip the script" moments?

I got a weird cold call recently, and of course that's annoying, but sometimes I try pestering them to figure out where they got my number and found out it was meant for a doppelganger who is definitely a different person and is also a dentist. Not actually that interesting, but I imagine scenarios where you might get stopped on the street to sign for a petition and then you recognize the solicitor as drummer for your favorite band and you get them to sign their CD which you somehow have on you, then spend the next hour talking about their tumultuous breakup before you have to run and never end up signing the petition.

my ex-girlfriend was working as an exotic dancer and a customer came in who she recognized as a semi-well known poet who she owned a few books by. She started talking to him about his writing and he got uncomfortable and left.

Amazing reversal! I don't think I could recognize any poets unless they were stereotypically dressed like one. That would be too good if she initially clocked him by the tweed.

A cousin of mine and her friend was on a Toronto street corner where several evangelicals were distributing religious pamphlets; they cheerfully accepted a few from two of them, then immediately redistributed them into the hands of the others and kept walking. One of the guys angrily yelled something at their backs as they left him behind.

there's a great instagram video of a guy interrogating police officers sitting in their cars: "So.. what are you doing down here? You got some ID on you? You mind if I take a look in the car?" etc. They all seem really taken aback
