Yes! They are surprisingly subversive for a kids series. There's one where there's a poster on the wall of the school that says "Mass Conformity: It's cool! It's fun!"

When Ms. Ribble retires, all the kids have to make identical cards with yellow butterflies traced from a stencil. One kid puts purple spots on his butterfly and is punished for having too much imagination.

I have an official George and Harold Hyno-ring and wear it all the time.
