amazing first set. sabalenka tensed up when she took a lead but locked in when it mattered, trailing in the tiebreak. both hit excellent shots, including a running winner by gauff to force a tiebreak that might be a career best for her

My favourite thing in the world right now is playing tennis, but I don't watch much. I tuned in today during the fourth set, before Sinner had the three match points. Incredible from that point forward. What I especially loved was when Alcaraz would sneak in a drop shot--every one worked except for one. I don't enjoy watching baseline to baseline slugging all that much, so every time Alcaraz pulled off a perfect drop, I reacted just like Spike Lee when the camera caught him laughing heartily.
