Is it time for another thread about kittens?

or would one about puppies be more appropriate to the way we live today?

DV (dirtyvicar), Wednesday, 27 November 2002 16:35 (twenty-three years ago)

Hey Ian! I was thinking of you the other day.

I can't remember why now though.

Oh yes. Is there a Franks deadline coming up soon? I gave you some money so I should write something. Would you like a port-addled story about Vanessa Carlton and Puddles of MUDD?

Sarah (starry), Wednesday, 27 November 2002 16:37 (twenty-three years ago)

Man you keep thinking about kittens and one day real life will bite you in the ass, I've seen it happen. (glazed look in eyes) (exhales cigar smoke)

Oh Sarah. How have the mighty sidled sideways. But yes, more tiny baby animals. That'll (baby) fox the tabloids!

Spawn of Basil Brush. They'll grow up and take on the cravats of their foxfathers, just you see.

My essay involved the theme to 'Ski Sunday' at one point.

Madchen (Madchen), Wednesday, 27 November 2002 16:59 (twenty-three years ago)

Ah, Sarah. Glad to see you're still sticking to your principles. Mind you, port is vital to pen about Puddle of Mudd in the first place;>

I certainly approve of using ILX as a conduit for private communications. Yes, there is a Franks deadline, it is friday the 6th December, you did give me money and you should write something. port-addled stories about Vanessa Carlton and Puddle of MUDD sound G*R*A*T*E.

getting back to the original issue, I think there aren't enough happy little puppies on the boards, so maybe a thread about them would be best.

I really like the idea of the Daily Cockfarmer running an article titled "Puppy Discussing Shame Of Internet Weirdos"

DV (dirtyvicar), Wednesday, 27 November 2002 17:03 (twenty-three years ago)

i'm going to post a picture of my cat tomorrow.

But did you not see this?

Madchen (Madchen), Thursday, 28 November 2002 10:10 (twenty-three years ago)

oh no! giant orange attacks panda! oh NO!

g-kit (g-kit), Thursday, 28 November 2002 16:08 (twenty-three years ago)

See the looming green welly that lurks at top of shot. Did it kick the giant orange into attacking proximity? Is it about to put the boot into the panda? I think we have a right to know.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Thursday, 28 November 2002 16:12 (twenty-three years ago)

i was hoping if i ignored the welly, it might just go away :/

g-kit (g-kit), Thursday, 28 November 2002 16:15 (twenty-three years ago)

I would love to go bowling and have ten baby pandas at the end of the lane instead of pins.

Madchen (Madchen), Thursday, 28 November 2002 16:16 (twenty-three years ago)

gee, i can already see headlines about ilx & panda cruelty.

g-kit (g-kit), Thursday, 28 November 2002 16:17 (twenty-three years ago)

You'd have to have a ruddy huge bowling ball to get 10 baby pandas down. Would they cry piteously? Awwwww. Alternatively, they might galumph back down the lane and savage the lot of you, spilling yr pints and everything.

I really want to get a kitten.

I like yr cardboard-box chic Tep.

jm (jtm), Tuesday, 29 April 2003 02:41 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm rockin the grad-school pad, believe me. At the time that photo was taken, my "computer desk" (in the picture of Pepper, you can see my monitor and chair) was a dorm-sized refrigerator which kept threatening to break my knees. Which is creepy, cause man, appliances aren't supposed to talk.

Tep (ktepi), Tuesday, 29 April 2003 02:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Don't look at me, I'm practically doing the same thing... ('cepting the desk. I have one of those)

jm (jtm), Tuesday, 29 April 2003 02:51 (twenty-two years ago)

How are you, Aaron G? Moving any time soon?
The answer is yes, you should get a kitten.

Granny Dainger, Thursday, 15 May 2008 01:44 (seventeen years ago)

three years pass...

There are 3 or 4 kittens under a water tank in the front of the building where I work. There is a lot of traffic around and other bigger animals like raccoons, so I am worried about them. But every time I try to get them they run away or scoot under the tank where I can't reach. Are they okay? I think there might be a big cat with them but I'm not sure.

no more racist than the Duke boys driving around in the General Lee (admrl), Friday, 23 September 2011 21:30 (fourteen years ago)

no?

Takeshi Kitteno (admrl), Saturday, 24 September 2011 01:47 (fourteen years ago)

A kitten who hung out out with real tough raccoons ended up adopting me back in 2005. She is a healthy sweetie. Healthiest cat my vet has ever seen, per my vet. Prior to her finding me I was worried about all these tiny kittens hanging with raccoons, it's the traffic you have to worry about.

*tera, Saturday, 24 September 2011 01:53 (fourteen years ago)

I think they will be ok. I checked for them again and they had gone. I don't like raccoons because one killed a cat that lived nest door to me right after I moved in.
