A singular, um, 'talent' inherited from my dad, though of course as noted everybody lets fly, pretty much -- however, I fear I have his propensity for noise. Easy solution, though -- cut out the dairy products.

I haven't lit my own farts. However, I have seen my youngest brother do so. It was on Christmas Day 1999 and we were sat with my family around the dinner table at the time. I can't really remember how the topic came up but he was going in on about it so much that a demonstration was demanded (not by me, I hasten to add) and eagerly supplied. The flame was quite pretty, flickering from orange to purple as the different gases ignited.

When I was 12 and took my first German class, I thought it was the funniest thing when I first read "freie Fahrt".

I reckon that's why I chose to take German instead of French or Spanish.

respect to jonathan for liking the smell of his. me too! but someone elses farts are always unpleasant. and yes i fart, obviously. i fart in public but only if i know its gonna be silent. but then theres the embarassment of thinking its gonna be a silent one and all of a sudden...
