It was a TV series and came from New Zealand. Google tells me very little and nor does TV Cream, even. Starred a small boy. Gunfighters. Someone going over a waterfall in a barrel. Hein?

SA cider named after it.

it featured a WHORE and a KINDLY OLD UNCLE CHARACTER. In the penultimate episode it turned out that the KOUC was in cahoots with the baddie and that the W was the one he could rely on.

Did he find his dad in the end? It had a smashing theme tune.

Are you sure it featured a whore Alan? I can't believe small me would have been allowed to watch it!

Lordy yes, I thought this was about that cider. It's the driest once you can get in southern Africa, I reckon, and pretty tasty. TV series sounds wacky, though.

5{iers town stuff and there was a pretty lady who worked in the bar with other pretty ladies and they all wore big dresses. YOU DO THE MATH.

the KOUC was called Brannigan -- i always associate the overpriced crisps with the show for that reason

erm that got mangled by the simultaneous posts thing. "It was all frontiers town stuff..." etc

I'm surprised that it's that old. I have very very vague memories of this, but I do have a friend who will no doubt remember it. I shall mail him now and post his reply later.....

I always associate the crisps with Laura Brannigan.
