It's true, pretty much every Australian resident is awake, possibly anticipating sunset/dinner/etc by this point. AUS/NZ/East Asia/etc never looks to generate much traffic here during what are surely our peak hours on the interwebs more broadly.

Heez, Sunday, 15 February 2026 07:12 (three months ago)

High five! Have the air conditioner running here in GMT+10/+11, though it's hardly *brutally* hot tbf.

*Someone* is likely reading from every zone this side of Greenwich by this hour, no? Taiwan? Pakistan? Romania? Spain?

I lived in Vietnam for almost a decade, which is an hour behind Malaysia (though situated kind of between the Malay peninsula and Borneo). But have been back on boring EST the last few years

i think i listened to the entire discography up to Rowe's departure plus several bootlegs and a few individual/collab releases over a few days in January... that is really narrowing it down i know lol

Home Alone Again Or (Deflatormouse), Sunday, 15 February 2026 18:03 (three months ago)

The marathon listening format cut them down to size for me a little bit. Before this, i'd always regarded the classic trio especially as very reliable but i found more fault and noticed more seams than i usually do. There were clear high and low points. the high points ofc why i listened for 4 days straight, the lows why i'm slightly embarrassed about it. Newfoundland still my favorite

Home Alone Again Or (Deflatormouse), Sunday, 15 February 2026 18:25 (three months ago)

haha same! that one is really special.

sleeve, Sunday, 15 February 2026 18:35 (three months ago)

also love the Prevost/Organum split

sleeve, Sunday, 15 February 2026 18:35 (three months ago)

I haven’t heard that one! this was one of the performances that i guess encapsulated the good, the bad and the ugly where Prevost, after crowding out the other two players much of the set, takes a steaming free-jazz dump towards the end that suddenly gives way to one of their most astonishingly beautiful immaculate metallic cloud formations.

Truly somewhat exotic! I luv (as someone who was surely meant to be born be somewhere way colder) that I once took the ~1 hour flight then a tiny spontaneous hike to what *seemed* like barely the foothills of Mt Wellington, to find icy ground in DECEMBER!* A veritable magical wonderland.

* It's possible that was at a higher altitude than I remember, and I'm not 100% sure it wasn't actually still late spring, but still lol...

In the Bangkok airport heading back to Phnom Penh. Two and a half hours til liftoff

Heez, Monday, 16 February 2026 08:40 (three months ago)

Good lord, I just saw that 'Hospital' thread. Yowsah. May you have a comfortable flight, for starters!

Heavy, downy baby goose (Nag! Nag! Nag!), Monday, 16 February 2026 09:26 (three months ago)

Comfort won’t be the issue. It’s not falling on my face while I try to get from the wheelchair to my seat on crutches
