What are books you like enough to have on your shelf but are indifferent enough to have its pages massacred for a craft project?

I remember settling on a Hardy Boys combo volume to painstakingly xacto knife into a book safe that ended up storing stale kosher bazooka joe gum.

I still have a Janus Films catalog on my shelf, many pages of which are missing still images that I pilfered for a collage project some years (decades?) ago.

I do regret cutting up some cool catalogs, mostly because they don't seem to be printing them anymore.
