Ten years ago, Stevie D. and I started a Facebook thread of "made-up funny names" and it's been going strong since then. To celebrate the thread's 10th anniversary, I sorted through the 1000+ names and distilled them to a list of a hundred. Please indulge our sophomoric sense of humour and vote for your favourite, today.

Note that on this week’s ballot there are a few dual entries, as sometimes a single name would beget a fun suggestion of the name of their brother or her sister or offspring, and I felt they should be included as duos rather than split up.

Ron Toronto because I live in Toronto and have known of at least one Ron in my life.

My preference is for names that don’t try to be funny through alteration or rhyme, or cartoonish absurdity, but still sound funny because they’re still a little absurd but could pass in real life.
