kinski v trump

but the tax returns...they did nothing!

"Because I've been recently attacked by crazily politically correct individuals who wonder why I would direct Wagner in the first place, I now have a series of prepared answers. The first one is a question: Why did Daniel Barenboim conduct Wagner and even do it in Israel? No doubt about it, Wagner's personal character is awful, and worse, he was an antisemite. But he's not responsible for Hitler and the Holocaust any more than Karl Marx was responsible for Stalin. The music that Wagner composed is irresistibly wonderful. Similar questions about guilt and general condemnation arose to do with Kinski after his daughter Pola wrote in a book about continued incest with her father. Pola--like a number of young women lately--had asked me for advice and support before she published her book. I have absolutely no doubt about her account."

kinski sexually abused his daughter, Trump publicly fantasized about his daughter

but kinski didn’t destroy a republic, tough one

Didn't vote, but it would have to be Kinski really. They are both fairly unpleasant characters and molestors, but at least Kinski was in a few good movies, and thankfully nobody was foolish enough to actually let him run a country.

Happy birthday, Klaus!
