GUYS - a thread about Guys, a podcast about guys

Any other Guys listeners around here? Have some favorite episodes? Where are my flub heads?

I love it

It’s such a pure distillation of an idea, you see an ep titled like “knife guys” & you’re like hell yeah we’re gonna see some freaks sickos.jpg

Obv reading off comments from the internet to make fun of is low hanging fruit and very done but it’s really all about the neverending reveal of what a genuine maniac Quinby is

I was listening to an episode with a friend who felt somewhat indicted in that he was one of the guys and I had to explain, no, Bryan and Chris are sometimes the type of guy as well and often the guest has some subject-specific knowledge

I like goofing on my own interests, though!

the rockabilly guys episode is such a good cheatsheet for understanding what's going on with people you'll run into across the US in certain segments. came to mind over the weekend when I was at the grocery store in line behind a local bartender and she must have called the cashier "darling" about eight times. rockabilly bartender

the funny part of Bryan's stories about life in the midwest and his childhood is that I feel like I knew a local version of the same people

had to google just now to check this was a real thing and everyone wasn't just doing a bit

<3 Murder Bryan (legit nice guy irl too!) and the subject matter could not be more perfect for him. The other guy I found a little annoying at first but maybe they smoothed some of that out)?)

Chris’s role has evolved to be the keeper of Bryan lore to mock him to the guests
