weirdest spam ever?

Hi [history mayne],

I'm a Producer on the Australian TV public affairs show Sunday Night. I understand from
Sandra that you might be able to help facilitate an introduction to actress Sandra Bullock.

We would like to contact her with regard to requesting an interview with her. She has been supporting Sam Childers and his charity work in Southern Sudan and Northern Uganda. Not sure if you are aware but Sam's life has been made into a Hollywood feature film coming out in September. Sunday Night will be filming with Sam on his next mission into the Congo where he hopes to rescue children abducted by the LRA Rebels.

Not a spam name, but wasn't sure of the right thread to bump. Anyone else noticed an uptick in spam in the last few weeks? Nothing overwhelming or spam bomb-y, just noticed my spam filter/folder in Gmail is getting 10-20 spam emails per day when it typically is in the 1-2 range. (Yes, I am one of those people that is diligent about keeping a clean inbox and notices these sorts of things.) I mean they are all still getting caught by the filter, as they should be, just a noticeable uptick.
