I believe Sally Phillips will one day be very famous indeed - a Hollyood film star, in the same vein as Katharine Hepburn.

SHe looks like a chipmunk. She can only do leftfield.

I believe one day Daisy Donovan will be dead. Whilst not exactly rocket science the thought does not sadden me in the way it might otherwise.

Apparently S. Phillips is qualified to be a circus clown.

yeah, but would you?

Sally Phillips is not going to be a Hollywood star. For one thing, she is looking increasingly wizened. For another, she has never topped her role as the receptionist that everyone secretly had a crush on / thought was great until they all got together one night in a pub and said "ME TOO!"

Daisy Donovan is just awful, but Graham likes her for some reason he refuses to divulge.

She'll be a Hollywood Star ... What's the date? - right, remember my smugness this time 2004, won't you>?

Both have the duckface du pompadour, but Sally Phillips has done some good (not great) work, while Daisy Donovan is a talentless witch. Nothing nothing NOTHING good came out of The 11 O'Clock Show, because the enjoyability factor of Ali G has been nullified by a couple of years of rubbish imitations.

I know it's wrong to objectify, but... how would you rate the Smack the Pony cast in order of how much you'd like to bone them?

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Wednesday, 4 December 2002 17:12 (twenty-two years ago)

Parkinson
Phillips
(Alexander)
McKinchon

Pete (Pete), Wednesday, 4 December 2002 17:28 (twenty-two years ago)

i tried to rate them in the order of how much they'd like to bone dom passantino, but my calculations would not resolve

I adore Sally Phillips, and find her very funny. Especially that look of trying not to laugh that she did a lot when faced with Alan Partridge, but I thought she was often strange and funny on Smack The Pony. (And who is Parkinson, Pete?)

four months pass...
Sally stars alongside the other ponies in a new film, 'Gladiatress' - due for release September 03. Having seen the final edit, I can say it is one of the funniest films for years, and Sally is quite brilliant as 'Worthaboutapig'; a gooning treat for all!

Daisy seems over-hated to me, as does the original series of the 11 O Click show generally...not that funny but not that bad either. Smack The Pony is a very hit and miss show - the musical numbers are always rubbish and way too self-indulgent. i have been known to have a bit of a crush on Fiona Allen tho.

N's post is unimpeachable.

SP weirds people out because she is a hard-core God-botherer.

Fiona Allen is married to Michael Parkinson's son. So presumably that makes her a Parkinson too. But she shagged Mike Baldwin in Coronation Street, so ew!!
