on my dresser
three plastic driedels,a tin of banana wafer cookies, push pins, a bullentin board for all of the paper i pick up filled with invations ,exam scheds, reading lists, adresses ,phone numbers. also a rolodex, two books, photos, postcards, and a little box with an 18th century engraving of st marks place in venice which contains endless receipts, and a godiva choclate box that has notes, letters , correspance etc.

on my desk

Mr Dobbs Change purse,computer, id cards for governemnt and uni, passport, 23.65 in one twenty, three loonies, two qauters, a dime and a nickel, my silver day timer, a mug filled with pens and pencils- including 6 black and yellow striped gel ball points, two issues of the new yorker, a lined but unmargined paper, three handwritten drafts of things i am working on, two condoms.

computer stuff, printer, scanner, pens, pencilsharper, pringles (potato chips), a can with peanut butter (friends brought me from a holiday in France), bills, receipts, a photo of a kid reading Tintin in the French chateau that inspired the Haddock castle in the books (now turned into a museum) plastic transparent tape dispenser, a picture of a Dutch crowded swimming pool ripped off a flyer

imac, headphones ($200), cd cases, minidiscplayer, minidiscs, stack of books (Teach Yourself Gaelic, Japan at a Glance, Essays by Geroge Orwell, Rhyming dictionary, etc.) pencils, playing cards, calculator, flash light, and pinky (candy from Japan).

on my bed side table:

vitamins, clock radio, cd player, wallet, keys, cd case, piggy bank.

This table: my computer monitor, keyboard and scanner. The When saturday Comes 2003 Calendar. CDs to play again soon - Missy, TLC - plus that currently playing - a tremendous Definitive Jux comp free with BreakingPoint mag. A couple of tapes that I'll get round to sending to people soon. A 'Flimsy' minicomic. A glass of orange squash. My mobile. My credit card bill. The latest Krazy & Ignatz collection. A tape measure. A ruler.

The one by my armchair: this week's Guardian Guide. A timer. A pen. My video notebook. An insurance quote. Three remote controls. This month's Mixmag.

Bedside table: cassette player, currently with an Impressions tape in it. A tupperware bottle of orange squash. A book recently read but not yet put away - English, Our English (And How To Sing It) by Keith Waterhouse. My keys and coins.

On my desk: a yukka, a lamp, this here computer, photo of my cat, photo of my old dog, an abbacus, a shelf unit, various toys (transformers, lego, etc), a gameboy game, bits of paper and pens, a cheque, a couple of CD's, an elephant model form Sri Lanka, statue of liberty and empire state building models, a stress ball form the online exhibition and a used light bulb which I keep meaning to throw out...er that's it
