egg nog... Ilove the stuff, but most of what I find is not good. the best egg nog I've ever had was from Purity Dairy in Ithaca, NY... rich, thick, creamy.. it tasted real as compared to Hood and all that other commercial stuff. can't find any around me.

Anyone know a good recipe?

The best coffee drink I've ever had was an egg nog latte I had at this place in Vancouver on commercial drive a few weeks ago. It was creamy, savory, sweet buzz heaven.

thanks dan! That's a good looking recipe and potent! I must confess to looking for a non-alcoholic eggnog -- I'm not that much of a drinker and like the option.

And, that recipe has a discussion of yolk and white seperating with a link to a lovely commercial seperator well worth looking at. take a moment.

I spent a semester of college in istanbul...and while there I decided to make egg nog for christmas. I was making up the recipe off the top of my head and well...it didn't go so good.
