Gannet!

One of the nice things about playing in a pub quiz league is that at the end they bring on the food! Quite often this just consists of sandwiches and the odd sausage roll, but last night the Woodstock Arms really did us proud with chips, pork pie, pizza slices, sausages and these things that were like scotch eggs except instead of meat and egg they had a layer of cheese which tasted a bit like Boursin (sp?).

After a few beers, a lot of verbal answering of questions and (s'pose) some thinking I'd worked up quite a bit of an appetite and dived in, only noticing after a few minutes that I was helping myself to RATHER MORE than my fellow team members!

So this morning I woke up feeling pretty stuffed and didn't feel like breakfast (tho I had some in the end).

Can you think of a time when you've been a bit of a greedy-guts?

There is nothing better than eating when you are *REALLY* hungry. I often dont eat for long stretches of time, then when I get *REALLY* hungry, I eat like a little pig.

Oink Oink.

In an unheard-of development, I am OFF MY FOOD at the moment. Don't expect it will last long.

Good Lord Archel! Do I need to make a care package of CAKE for you? Hope you feel better soon. Pigging out is a top-class filthy pleasure, particularly if the Pizza Hut £5 buffet lunch is involved. Groo.

I tried out a new Indian food buffet in Georgetown earlier this week (not bad, as long as you're not a vegetarian and don't mind grease), but I need to stop regarding "all you can eat" as a challenge.
