Do you cull, what do you cull, how do you cull

We used to cull cherries on our orchard before sending them out to the packers. Take out the ones with brown spots, or the shrivelled-up ones. The ones that have the 'split' skins are very sweet, but they won't keep long enough to be processed so they have to go, too. The rotten ones go on the ground, but the other ones can be made into preserves.

I've always wanted to cull the souls of the unrighteous.
