dr c just called pete an "all-round sizzla" and it reminded me of an hilarious villain in brookside called S-sizzla

(I am a tremendous fan also of PC Reg Hollis in the Bill, tho he is not strictly speaking "lost")

Redvers Potter - scandalously written out of the recent Arthur Lowe documentary.

From Brookie - Alan Partridge.

From Follyfoot - Ron (Chritian Rodska's buggergrips!)

From Grange Hill - Mr. Hopwood, Gripper Stebson, Roland, Fay Lucas and Trisha 'shut yer marf' Yates.

And of course Zokko, the speaking Pinball table who only mark's sistah and me have ever heard of!

er, gordon the gopher, Debbie Greenwood (First Class), Mr Bennett (Take Hart), and where's Noel Edmonds at the moment? probably cooking up some stinking pile of poo that he can pass off as a Saturday evening show.

Jonny Ball Classic Moment (that I've just remembered):

"I'm a mystic! And here's me stick!"

Fantastic.

Is this all British characters?

Cuz as a Yank, I'd like to just mention Boner from Growing Pains.

my friend got told off by Jonny Ball when he was in the studio audience. At the start of the show when Jonny shouted 'think of a number?!', my mate shouted "NO!". Jonny Ball was all "look kid, I'll do the talking alright".

Fozzie, that has *got* to be the best tenuous claim to fame in the world. I've just finished crying into my coffee with laughter.

Chuck Cunningham.

Also, Frog from "How the West was Lost", but I might be making that up.

Colin Meeder (Mert), Wednesday, 11 December 2002 17:31 (twenty-two years ago)

I'd forgotten all about S-sizzla - thank you Mark.

I liked Gordon Brittas but I don't think anyone else did much.

Also, all the characters in Ever Decreasing Circles.

But I guess you're looking for more minor characters.

N. (nickdastoor), Wednesday, 11 December 2002 18:06 (twenty-two years ago)

Colin from The Brittas Empire.

Graham (graham), Wednesday, 11 December 2002 18:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Pigbin Josh
