I am typing dyslexic!

When I type , I almost always swicth the leters in words! WHat the hell? Does anyone lese do this? And shouold I botehr correcting it for ILE purposes?

I type mostly with one finger, but if I'm feeling adventurous, my left hand might stray from its customary position over the shift key to hit the odd 'a', say. It is only trying to help, but it does not coordinate with the right hand, so the 'a' is rarely exactly in the right place. I typed 'stary' instead of 'stray' above, and just then I had to correct 'instaed'.

seriously, now ... is this something that does really bother or hinder you? i mean, is it just here or does this "typing dyslexia" also affect other things in your life?

oh yes, i have typing dyslexia and worse. and you find yourself unable to type certain words if they are too closely spelled to other word (I have to be careful when typing BLUE not to type BLUR, and i cannot type the name ANDY WARHOL without adding a D.).

I dont think I am really dyslexic, its probably got something to do with the fact that I never really learned how to type the correct, way. I shoudl probably always loook at the keys when I am typing.

two years pass...

For some reason, in the last few months, I have been switching the last two letters of "would", "should", & "could" almost every single time I type them. it's driving me crazy! also, I keep typing semicolons instead of apostrophes (approx. the last year or so). gaaah! do I just need to type a bit slower?

About 95% of the time I mess up "include" and write "inlcude", which probably would't be a big deal if I wasn't a software engineer, and always have to write "#include ...". I also have auto-correct on my work email to auto-correct my own name, as I mostly write "Carig" instead of "Craig".
