One-party states with presidents-for-life attempting to live down artificial-country status by a) deliberately wrecking economy and reducing ppl to infantilism with some motivated-by-fuck-knows-what ideology disguised as policy b) specialising in increasingly shrill and hysterical assaults on other nations they've been parasiting off forever, who luckily ignore them instead of just taking five minutes out of their schedules to wipe them out
