The NAD T752 Surround Sound Reciever - Classic or Dud?

(well, i thought it was funny - look at the display in the middle there, it's meant to say DVD but it looks like DUD. do you see?)

and in an attempt to salvage this thread from being a one-post joke kinda thing i pose this:

What's your favourite gadget?

mine's probably the Tivo hard disk video recorder thing that's sat under the tv sucking up good things for my later viewing pleasure. no need to program the video every morning before going off to work to catch those 6 o'clock shows or every night to catch those shows that channel 4 always schedules for 2am. best thing about it, though, is being able to watch the start of something that it's currently halfway through recording rather than having to wait until it's finished. vhs recorders are just SO analog 8)
